Trespass Music Releases “Roll Away” by Miss Brown To You

Trespass Music is pleased to release to radio “Roll Away” by Miss Brown To You
roll away cover
Fans and DJ’s in Oklahoma and Texas, are saying that ‘Roll Away,’ the third release from Oklahoma City duo Miss Brown to You, is the best. Other artists flee the appellation ‘eclectic’ but Louise Goldberg and Mary Reynolds embrace it: jazz, folk, singer/songwriter, Red Dirt, Cajun, blues, gospel, there’s something different in every cut. “delightful… their singing is angelic.

Miss Brown To You is on a roll.” Doug Hill, The Norman Transcript

Mary Reynolds is simply the greatest female voice in Oklahoma and Louise Goldberg is one of the finest keyboardists I have ever heard in my life… They are music legends for a reason…Greg Johnson, KOSU For the Sake of the Song
I can’t think of anyone who interprets other great songwriter’s songs better than Mary Reynolds and Louise Goldberg.Scott Aycock, KWGS Folk Salad

Louise Goldberg (piano, voice, bass, guitar, accordion) and Mary Reynolds (guitar, voice, bass) concentrate on their work as a duo for this album. But there are also 3 cuts that feature the Miss Brown to You quartet, primarily a jazz group but capable of a wide spectrum of musical expression.

A folk ballad from the misty hills of Kentucky. A sophisticated jazz standard, heard through a New York doorway. Steamy blues from New Orleans, circa 1920. A swinging two step at the dance hall, where Bob Wills is on the stand. A samba igniting the hills of Rio de Janeiro. Colorful original songs.
