There is a joy and humor which stitches their way throughout each song and story connected to it sewing a smile to each face and heart who are penetrated by her needling insights and wit. While the influence many great blues singers has on Ms. Miraglia’s compositions and performance styles can be speculated on, there is little doubt, if any of those legendary performer were the experienced her talents, they would be inspired by her.”

“This singer/songwriter, and guitar player has released an impressive disc for one that appears so young. It has a resilient strength and does not back down, nor does it back away from anything. There is a force and strength here that shines on through all that comes along, echoed by the relentless and strong steady thumb plucking on the bass notes of her guitar. An interesting voice that sounds as if it has seen too much and yet has an innocent quality at times that deflects the too much whiskey thought. One of those young yet old in other ways voices that might be in some ways reminiscent of early Janis Joplin, not in the power of the voice, but in the dichotomy between the voice and the amount the singer has experienced, an old person in a younger body.

There are ten songs on the disc and she wrote all but the Traditional Stagger Lee. There is an acoustic feel to the disc though they do plug in upon occasion. It is basically Danielle on vocals, acoustic and electric guitars and stomp box, and Tom Bianchi on electric and upright bass as well as backing vocals, percussion and harmonica. There are a plethora of others that contribute quite effectively on background vocals or a number of other instruments on a song or two. Make no mistake this is her disc and it is about her music, what the others contribute are important touches and effective finishing touches but unessential to the disc. This is someone that this reviewer is going to keep an eye on, as good as the disc is there is a tremendous potential for growth and expansion here.”
