Loretta Hagen will be LIVE in studio with Mike Holliday host of “Notes From Home“ airing on WBZH 1370 AM Wednesday August 15 at 8:00pm. “Notes From Home” is presented Wednesday nights from 7-9pm and can be streamed at www.wbzh.net
Loretta will join Mike for a live performance interview from 8:00-8:30 pm, to talk about and perform cuts from her new CD “Mud and Stone.” Hagen’s current project debuted at #10 on Folk DJ Radio Charts, consistently remains #1 for the State of NJ RMR and peaked #5 for Top 50 Folk Albums on the Roots Music Report.
Mike Holliday hosts two shows on WBZH Wed nights; “Notes from Home” at 7:00pm. and “Notes from the Road” at 9:00pm., streamed at www.wbzh.net He also gives the area’s weekly happenings in “Mike’s Music Scene” and is a singer-songwriter, who recently performed at Musikfest, opened for Vance Gilbert at Godfrey Daniels, opened for Brother Sun at Steel City and co-billed with Charlie Phillips at Burlap & Bean.
Mike and Loretta will also talk about her gig the following day, Thursday August 16 at Upper Saucon Community Concerts in Center Valley PA for an outdoor performance in the pavillion from 7-9pm. This event is presented by Listen Live Music and the Upper Saucon Township Parks and Recreation Commission and sponsored by local business Lutron.
Listen Live Music is a non-profit community organization which hosts monthly open mics, and concerts at Macungie Institue in Macungie, PA. Although the organization is fairly new, 3 years on the Lehigh Valley PA music scene, partners Val Minet and Ami Lanning, work hand in hand with a core of friendly, dedicated volunteers to bring music of all caliber and genre to the area. This is Listen Live Music’s debut of bringing outdoor concerts to the area.
