“From the Page to the Stage” – Poetry into Song
Danielle Miraglia studied Creative Writing at Emerson College in Boston, MA with intentions of becoming a novelist. Upon graduation, she found that she was writing more poetry than prose and had a reawakened urge to pick up her guitar. From this, songs were born that would lead to a life-time passion and a full-time career in music.
On Friday, Feb 25th, bring your poetry to share and your questions for Danielle for a discussion on: the craft of turning your poetry into songs; combining two passions into one; how to get over the fear of taking deeply personal feelings from the page to the stage and more.
Workshop at 6pm followed by a concert by Danielle at 8pm.
Friday, January 7th get over the winter blues with music by Boston’s Danielle Miraglia at Art Music Coffeehouse in East Stroudsberg, PA! Danielle blends footstompin’ and blues pickin’ with songs that will move both your heart and your feet. Don’t miss this rare appearance!
Love live music, but going out during the winter months has no appeal? Let us bring the music to you! From Dec – Feb, Danielle Miraglia is available for concerts in various areas of the Northeast and beyond including VT, ME, NH, MA, NY, NJ PA and MD. Some dates still open in Dec if you’re looking for live music for your holiday party! If you’re interested in having Danielle play your home, contact Tracey Delfino at tracey@trespassmusic.org for availability.
A house concert is a fun way to see performers in an intimate setting without having to leave your home – like getting a house call from a musician! Doesn’t that sound good!? Some people have them as private events for them and their friends, others make them open to the public…the nice thing is, it’s your home and it’s up to you.
The way it works:
Some people pay a flat rate to have a musician in their home (negotiable depending on travel and other details). Others will ask attendees to contribute a donation of $10 – $20 that goes to the musician.
For more info contact Tracey Delfino at tracey@trespassmusic.org or by phone (774) 269-3834

OH and GREAT MUSIC.
Monday night Dec.13 – we have an outstanding show- Marc Douglas Berardo and Reed Waddle
Mark Douglas Berardo is a different kind of singer/songwriter. In what amounts to song length works of fiction, Marc’s sharply drawn portraits cast a net on unusual and interesting characters and places. With a painter’s eye for detail, and music firmly rooted in the great American sound, he sings about circus retirees, expatriates in Florida rum bars, union iron workers, old poets, aimless New York City debutantes, near death car crashes, hard nosed fishermen and of course, the changes that life experience brings to everyone.
In a tireless pursuit of his musical breakthrough, three time International Songwriting finalist Reed Waddle spent the last year constantly writing and performing while recording his finest work to date aptly entitled “Piece by Piece”, a stunning combination of youthful modern pop brilliance with classic rock roots. This past year’s highlight came when Reed’s song “I Saw Stars” was chosen from over 25,000 entrants as a finalist in the inaugural American Idol Songwriter competition.
